Access Health CT (AHCT) is committed to creating equitable access to health and dental coverage across the State of Connecticut. The Health, Equity and Outreach (HEO) team at AHCT works directly in the community to ensure that Connecticut residents have the information they need, when and where they need it. In an effort to further meet people where they are, our HEO team is hosting monthly Zoom meetings on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. EST, for anyone who wants to learn more about enrolling in coverage through Access Health CT. These meetings, called “Healthy Chats,” are online so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home to take part.
Healthy Chats are another way for AHCT to provide new and current customers with information on enrolling and other health and dental insurance-related topics. The best part is how interactive the meetings are—if you have any questions at all about financial help, issues about coverage, billing, Medicaid renewals, Open Enrollment, or other timely issues, you can raise them at these meetings. After a brief presentation from our team, time is set aside for a live Q&A—sometimes we can answer the questions directly, sometimes we need more time to research the question and call the individual back the next day with a response. Either way, you get dedicated time with an expert from our team.

What to expect at a Healthy Chat:
The meetings start with a PowerPoint presentation and end with a Q&A. If the AHCT representative cannot answer a question, they will get back to the customer, usually over the phone.
